ADHD Therapy and Coaching
ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder) affects one’s ability to regulate attention and focus. Adults with ADHD may have trouble staying focused, starting or completing tasks, switching focus, or have trouble prioritizing what’s important. In addition, they have difficulty remembering information or misplace belongings, or concentrating. These challenges can create emotional, behavioural, and social disruptions, leading to anxiety, depression, low self esteem, problems at work or in relationships.
ADHD Therapy and Skills Coaching are forms of talk-therapy that help people explore ADHD related topics, identify strengths, builds self esteem and focuses on your identity, relationships, and emotional experience of ADHD. We will break down how ADHD affects you in daily life, set short term and long term goals, and teach you hands-on skills to work on in between sessions. You will also learn new patterns of thinking, develop different ways to problem-solve, and how to adapt to ongoing challenges.
You do not need to have an ADHD assessment or diagnosis to start therapy. Book your first session here.
